Food Pantry Walk-in Hours

The Woodward-Granger Food Pantry will be open for walk-in hours at this time. The Food Pantry door is the office door on the southeast side of the church building. Available items include non-perishable food items, some frozen foods and personal items.
The Food Pantry is just one of the food resources available in Granger. The resources below are free, and there are no questions asked and no forms to fill out.
The Granger Library has a Community Refrigerator with fresh produce and perishable food items, free to those who wish to use it. The Eat Greater Des Moines program donates the food that they gather from local grocery stores, farmers and orchard growers. The Community Refrigerator is available during normal library hours, Monday – Thursday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Assumption Catholic Church in Granger offers Mary’s Cupboard, a food distribution box
outside of the church at 1906 Sycamore Street. Mary’s Cupboard is available 24/7.
